Some ships are made of wood and some are made of steel but friendships are forever.

I was Marla's roomate for a few years.  We got along great. We're both Leo's, both love to travel (she had agoraphobia, but she never let that stop her), we both were clean freaks and we both shared the same morals and ethics. I'm glad she's with her Mom, at least. We can all find comfort in that.

I was Marlas Neice in the family. Her and I shared a lot of memories together from when I was little growing up to graduating high school back In 2017. She was a big part and a big player in my life that I will always remember. She also taught me how to paint a house for the first time in 2012 off of Ridgefield while my paternal grandmother was undergoing Rehab. I love you!  - Bookey

I’m so sorry Marla past away. I didn’t know until now as I sent her a birthday message on Facebook and said I hadn’t heard or seen her on Facebook in a while now I know why. I grew up with Marla in suburban apartments back in the day I use to live behind her and we became longtime friends. Sending hugs to her family and I’m hoping you all can remember her laugh and her smile
