This memorial website was created as a way for us to share our memories and pictures of Mark Eattock. The last thing he would have wanted was for us to mope and be depressed. So, in his memory and in the infamous words of Dirty Harry "Go ahead, make my day."
P.S. Go Giants! Go Niners!
I did not know Mr Eattock but I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his family. I know it's not easy to lose someone you love to death. We are promised that we will see our loved one's again. Acts 24 : 15, Psalms 37 : 29, Isaiah 25 verse 8 gives us more comfort for today and hope for the future. Just think how much God wants us to live forever and how much he loves us!
Uncle Mark had a big heart & I will miss him. As a kid I knew him as the Uncle who served us duck or pheasant (that had birdshot in it!) on holidays, who loved the Giants & 49ers and outfished my dad every time they went (although my dad may say otherwise). As adults we bonded over our love of something greater ... COFFEE! I loved sharing a cup & conversation with him. RIP Uncle Mark <3
The Box is a gift box passed among we Eattocks, re-wrapped for Xmas, Bdays, etc. The bottom lists recipients & dates; a medley of memories made over our small gatherings.
Once I misspelled "Uncle" as "Unca" but left it as not to deface the box. His big laugh when he read it filled me right up. RIP Unca, laugh with all you've got
Mark loved baseball. Once, I coached a team on which he was our power-hitting first baseman. In one game, the other first baseman was standing on the bag, making it difficult for our players to reach it. On my request Mark bunted and while running to first he yelled "look out Terry, I don't weigh 90 pounds for nothing!" Terry learned something about playing first base that day. RIP, Bro!
Mark was a great friend and one hell of a story teller. He would go into such detail of every story. It was almost like you're watching it in real life. I meet mark back in 07 when I started working at Graham Packaging and he grew on me with his storytelling he also talked me into getting my very first Harley-Davidson we spent many miles on the road he will always have a place in my heart
