This memorial website was created in the memory of Marion "Mimi" Adams, 90, born in 1932. Mimi was a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a grandmother, a great grandmother, a feminist, a booklover, an activist, a social justice advocate, a psychologist, a counselor, an advisor, a healer, a righter of wrongs, a lover of animals and nature, an adventurous traveler, and devoted friend to all (among other things). Her family is planning a Celebration of Life service for her at Christ Church (Episcopal), 43 Pine Street, Exeter, NH, on October 22, 2022 at 11 am with a reception at the church afterwards.
Mom was the person we looked up to, someone who equipped us early on, with the solid foundation and skills to navigate each day, a positive force and constant guide to keep us moving forward. I will miss her checking in with us, and on her grandchildren, to hear what we were up to, becoming, where we were headed, and helping guide us through life’s challenges. When we needed it most, she offered words of encouragement and wisdom, rich advice that came from a life well lived.
Mimi was truly one of a kind! She loved everyone and everything with zeal: her family, books, friends, the environment. I take comfort that she is safely in God’s hands now. She will be sorely missed. Hugs to Tom. Terry Dow
