Merry was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. Family was her #1 priority, but she was also devoted to keeping up with current events, social justice, music and the Red Sox. I am lucky to have heard so much of her life story. She worked with Barney Frank and met Barack Obama early in his first presidential campaign. How lucky we are to have known and loved Merry.

Merry was one of the kindest, warmest, funniest and gifted people I have ever known. There was a song on her lips and in her heart, and she gave joy to all those around her. We were so lucky to know her and her adored and adoring husband Jens; we will miss her deeply, but her smile stays in our hearts.
