My mom had many struggles in her lifetime but the one constant was the love that she shared with all of us and the love she received in return.

I could go on forever about the influence that our Grandmother had on me... she was one of God's greatest gifts in my life. A ray of light despite all that she lived through. Her best advice - ALWAYS tell the people you love how much they mean to you. Thankfully, she did that well & hopefully we did that well enough that she felt how much we loved her. Miss her deeply, everyday.

My mom was a special lady.  I always sought to make her proud.  She was my mom but also my friend.  She loved me in a way no other person ever has or could.  She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.  She was sometimes strong and sometimes weak but always caring, kind, and loving, a fighter and a sweetheart.  She was many things and I will miss all of them.

A strong woman works out everyday to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings, and capitalizes on them

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.
