My mother was a kind, strong, and generous woman. She had a heart of gold, and she loved unconditionally. Family was important to her. She loved her grandchildren more than anything in the world, and she was an AWESOME grandma. She loved life and she spent her last couple of years traveling and enjoying new experiences with family and friends. She was loved and cherished by so many.
Marie, I'm happy to have had the pleasure of meeting you. In the few nights alone that we had I felt that we would so easily grow close. It saddens me to have met such a pure and whole heartedly person that I so quickly would have to say goodbye to. The last time you were with me you held on tight as if you didn't want to leave, I could see it in your eyes and felt it in your hug.. I thought about you a lot that day the most as well as every day after that. The conversations we had, the laughter we shared & all the memories of your family you spoke of to me I will keep in my heart, never to forget. If only I had more time with you, I could only imagine.

Marie, you will be missed by so many, loved by many, and I will always carry our friendship/family in my heart. We became family when our siblings married but friends from the moment we met! I remember the first time we met, you brought a box of jello and we sat and dipped our fingers in it and ate it that way! Your smile lit up a room, now it will be a star in the heavens for us!
Marie, I will always remember the fun we had on our girls trips. We laughed until we cried. You were always such fun to be around! I will truly miss you!
Marie, you have been my best friend for 52 years and always will be. You have been by my side through good and bad, happy and sad and this my friend is the saddest! We have laughed until it hurt and cried until it was better. I love you more than words can say and you will forever be in my heart. We have such beautiful memories and I will treasure them forever. My friend, sister and HERO!
My dear friend Marie . . . . you were my close friend for over 50 years and I will miss your smile, your laugh and your great sense of humor so much. You had such a joyous presence when you entered a room. I know you are at peace now with the angels as you look down on your precious family and friends. You will be deeply missed and I will have fond memories of our time together forever.
For the last 27 years, I was lucky enough to call Marie my aunt. Aunt Marie knew how to have a good time and lit up the room with her smile. I have peace with her passing, because I know she is looking down on us from heaven. Until we meet again.... I love you.
