I got to know Mari while she was in the hospital and it didn't take long to see that behind her fun loving spirit was a true fighter. She had to endure so much pain, yet somehow managed to work through it and pull out a laugh or two every day. I enjoyed our short time together and only pray that her family will find healing power in her memories. What a beautiful girl gone too soon.
