Maria was my big sister.   I always looked up to her and was proud of all the things she did.   She was an accomplished lawyer and a consummate mother.   She will be missed by all who knew her.

Dear Family,

Aunt Maria was the best, she treated us as family from day one. Always interested in how we and our kids were doing. She was my Aunt but also a friend. Her wit, good looks, upbeat personality will be missed but never forgotten. I am a better person for having you in my life.

Maria, was an amazing beautiful and unique woman who carried herself with effortless style and grace. She was the kind of person who would go out of her way to just make you feel special. Her thoughtfulness was her love language, she always had a kind word or compliment ready to make you feel important and seen. I feel so very blessed to have had her as a friend.

Maria always nourished and nurtured everyone in her life. She literally gave up her career so that Lauren and Kevin could get a jump start in life. Her love for me and our marriage was a great confidence builder which no doubt played a major role in my professional success in the years immediately following our wedding. There is no way I will ever stop loving and missing my beloved bride
