Maria I will miss our political conversation, I will miss our calls and text on march 17 and March 18. If I had to have one cousin I thank God it was you. Love Tommy

Maria,
I will miss so much: daily chats, dinners out, time with Maeve, travel but most of all how we always had each other’s back. I don’t really recall a time with you not there in my life. You will always be the sister I chose and always be with me. I miss you already.

Auntie Ria, I will forever miss and cherish the time that you, mom, and I got to spend together as the best of friends. The spontaneous adventures, travels, extravagant dinners, long conversations, and laughs we shared are some of my most valuable memories. Thank you for being the most loving, gracious, and influential godmother anyone could’ve asked for. I miss you so much! - Maeve :)

Maria, I will forever miss your loving smile and genuine heart. From watching SVU to spending snow days together, there’s not a memory of Boston that doesn’t have you in it. You were always there for me when I needed to hear the truth and I will always remember the long conversations on your balcony. Thank you for being you. I miss you already.

May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rain fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Thank you for being my friend, I love you and miss you.

Maria - it has been an honor to be your friend and hairstylist for over 14 years. You have become the constant I can count on where our hair nights became more like girls nights or therapy sessions. Thank you for always listening to me without judgement and telling me the truth when I needed to hear it. I will miss your laugh, our late night balcony talks, I will miss you my friend <3

Maria, Words cannot express my appreciation for the love, caring, friendship, wit and laughs that you brought to our family over the years.  We could not have been more privileged to have you in our lives - and be more honored by the amazing group of friends & family that you introduced us to during your journey. Thank you for being you  - I love and miss you.

I am grateful that my time on this earth crossed Maria’s path. The friendships she share were an inspiration and I am sending love to all her many friends who loved her dearly. I will miss sharing funny GIFs on Facebook with her back and forth and her many stories!

Thank you for allowing me into your orbit and letting me share in the laughter. Thank you for being my sisters bestie. Thank you for never judging anyone and just laughing with us instead. Most of all, thank you for letting us all in to have a glimpse of your courageous battle, to witness the strength of humor and see your many friendships. Rest in the sweetest peace.

It has been a privilege and an honor to know you. Thank you for your example of courage, strength and enduring kindness this past year. Thank you for welcoming me into your ever-widening circle of love and friendship. You are, and will always be, an example for me of the importance of justice and tolerance. I continue to love you. Jean
