It is with sadness that we read the Mercury News today to learn of Mimi's passing. This is from the family of Georgia Kux who was Mimi's roommate at Oakmont. We remember all the times we would be visiting with Georgia in the Traditions library and Mimi would walk by and she always stopped by and smiled and said hi.
My husband and I, Tom Davis, met Mimi in Sebastian Cassarino's Italian class many years ago, and we shared dinners in each other's homes for some time thereafter. Occasionally Mimi and I would meet for lunch. About 15 years ago Mimi and I went on a Stanford trip to Paris together. Mimi was warm charming, beautiful. I'll miss her! Diane Trombetta
I missed the obituary in June hearing about my dear friends death just a month or so ago.. What a shock!! ...as the last time I saw Mimi she was seemingly healthy and full of her usual zip! Mimi and Dan were neighbors who we so enjoyed ..visiting at the ranch and of course at each others dining rooms.. and walks with lots of talking and laughing...I miss her so.
