Sorry for your loss. I didn't know her but I've also lost dear loved ones and have found comfort in Gods promise to end our suffering and death. Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, neither will mourning, nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
