Lyle is much beloved by his extended family, The Doughertys.  Lyle inherited us when he met Zoeann and he has left us with beautiful memories, starting with a wedding in Yosemite and countless parties in Milpitas and Brentwood.  We will miss his smile, his hospitality, his stories, and his talent as a chef.  We are so proud to know the donor of The Lyle Ferbrache Cajun Music Collection.  

Lyle whom I hesitate to use the word "was"  the sort of man who accepted me as a kindred spirit the very first time we were blessed to cross paths. His honest persona of caring beyond himself to an almost stranger found a space in my spirit that encourages me to strive towards his example in a permanent manner. What a blessing to have shared his friendship.
