When I opened the first Burger King in Medford in 1977 Lyle came in a few days after we opened and introduced himself. He stated if we ever ran out of a product such as straws, napkins, French fries, catsup, etc. just let him know and he would loan them to us. We traded supplies like that for a number of years until we opened more units ensuring more reserves. He was a great businessman.
