I worked with Lu on alcohol and drug prevention activities in Contra Costa. Lu was a dedicated community volunteer and a devoted mother. She spoke with such pride of Ann and Amy and the grandchildren. I know she was greatful to see the Markham name live on in Concord through the nature park. It is a treasure.  Elaine Prendergast, Concord
