Memorial Tributes
I will never forget Mrs. Pogany’s kindness and caring she unselfishly gave me while I was a student at Chugiak High School. Her advice kept a wayward teen in school when I would much rather avoid the responsibility of getting a good education. She made my world a better place. It has been 60 years but she will live on in my heart. Toby Riddell, class of ‘66.
My condolences to Mr. Pogany. He was our auto mechanics teacher at West High during my 1973-74 senior year. He was firm but, did it with a twinkle in his eye. He was popular and appreciated by everyone. I'm so sorry for your recent loss and that of your daughter as well. Brad Slama - class of 1974.
