I am so sorry for the loss of Lorraine. Job 14:14 asks "If a man dies, can he live again?" The answer is yes. Not only do you have the hope of seeing Lorraine again through the resurrection, but she will never experience "death", "mourning", "outcry" or "pain" - Revelation 21:4. I hope your faith in God and the scriptures provide comfort to you and your family.
