Lois was my Mom's BFF.  My Mom, Carmen Gliatti Claus, and Lois went to high school together, worked together as elevator operators in downtown Toledo, and maintained their close friendship right up to my Mom's passing in 2015.  She spoke with such love for Lois, I remember thinking what a blessing to have had such a long, enduring friendship with such a wonderful woman.  God bless.
