Bud Barnes was a kind, talented and generous man,   He was very much involved with the Kiwanis Club of Monterey and gave tirelessly of this time to support the various civic activities of the Club. I was privileged to know his lovely wife , Jackie, and know  how proud they both were of their family. Bud will be missed very much.

Bud was my father in-law for a brief time. We worked together during a difficult time, the death of his daughter (my wife), Kristen. He was a great man, and lived a life characterized by kindness, generosity, and love. The world is a better place because of him. I regret that our lives fell out of touch.
