Having known Linda since our meeting at McLaughlin Jr. HS, she was my very best friend. We grew up together, were college roommates, she was our Maid of Honor in 1969, and thankfully she was able to attend our 50th Anniversary Party. There are no words for the devotion and bonding we shared. There is a hole in my heart over losing my Dad (Linda's POPS) and that hole got bigger. Love Sherry
I have grown roses in our yard and cut and trimmed them to take to Linda today on her 71st Birthday Celebration. I keep my favorite picture of the two of us sitting in our dining area. We are celebrating the first Christmas at Log Heaven in 1999, standing in front of a real evergreen. I also keep her smiling face by my computer at my desk and greet her everyday! She spoke as thunder today
Happy 72nd Birthday to my best friend. Love to cut and trim my roses for your Memorial Day Bouquet today. Who will bring me flowers, you asked me? I WILL BRING YOU FLOWERS, I answered. I come often to clear your headstone and put up the beautiful bronze vase you picked out. It holds a good amount and anything I have left goes over to MOM and ERNIE. All my love and hugs, Sherry
Hard to believe but you left us 2 years ago today. Brenda and I brought you flowers and evergreen greenery and then came back and drank wine in your honor. It is supposed to snow on the Valley floor tonight; who cares We both miss you terribly everyday but you would be pleased we have become BESTIE BUDDIES. I even got her a coffee mug that says just that this year for her Christmas gift!
Happy 73rd Birthday to my best friend! May you know in your heart you are ever present daily in mine. I miss you more than I can tell you. We shared everything, you and I, warts and all. I smile often when I hear you making a funny or snide remark. I also want to share the homeless are being cared for with a new 62 apartment project for low income at 8th and Holly streets. Love You!
3 yr anniversary of you leaving & it still feels like yesterday. I will be by to talk later today as I make my rounds delivering gifts of the season to friends. Vince had his much needed back surgery and Brenda and I had a wonderful afternoon together last Friday, drinking wine and toasting you. As promised, I'm delivering your S10000 gift to McKenna this next Monday. Love & Kisses,
Your 75th Birthday finally arrived and once again roses from my garden grace your beautiful headstone. I came after the big wind storm and they had cut the large oak tree that gave you shade. The good news is that the birds don't roost above you and poop anymore! Ha Ha. Merry gave me an electronic frame for Christmas and I have loaded family and friends, many of you my Dear Friend.
One more year has now passed and yet, STILL I bring the flowers for your vase! Memorial Day Weekend also brought a flag and Steve this year. I returned to talk to you on your 76th birthday. I know the big tree we lost in the bad snow and wind storm this past year has left you with much more sunshine and much less shade than before. So, I now wear my hat when I visit in the summertime!
Another year has passed but Brenda and I both have big changes ahead of us in 2026 to tell you about!
Steve and I are moving to Rogue Valley Manor, finally after 20 years on the LIST! We will move to an east facing apartment in Sky Plaza Building on the top floor, likely in late March or early April of 2026. Daunting but exciting and just finally time for us to make the move!
Happy 77th Birthday! Brenda and I toasted you at lunch at Bambu and both brought flowers to you on different days. We have moved to Sky Plaza at RVM and are liking it very much. 6th flr, watching over you everyday from our windows. Grass is green and we had rain this week, so looking good here. Brenda, Vince, Lucy and Hunter are coming for dinner on June 12th.Nico & Kat good, too Love You!
