I met Lewis in high school and he was the nicest and sweetest soul that I ever met. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. I wish I could be at his homegoing but know my love, thoughts and prayers are with the family.
To the family and friends, I offer my deepest sympathy, and also a word of encouragement from the Bible. God has promised that the dead who are in his memory will be resurrected to life in a righteous new world. The promised future includes perfect health and everlasting life for obedient humans. The Bible says: " The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it." Psalms 37:29. May you find comfort from this scripture.

Lewis, you were one of those 'rare breeds'. Throughout our school years together not once did you get into trouble, and you always had that infectious smile on your face. You were a true gentleman. Your HSHS Class of 1987 will miss you as well as countless others who knew you. Rest in peace Lewis. To the Lewis family, thank you for giving us the chance to know him. You are in my prayers.
