Letizia was a good friend of mine in high school. We worked together at Barone's Pharmacy and were cheerleaders for the JV Boys' Basketball team. I used to go over to her house before practices and remember that there was always something wonderful-smelling cooking. I lived overseas for a few decades and then when I came back to Fitchburg, I would love seeing her from time to time at MB.
