Mom was not just mom but Mommy!  She was always there for us, encouraged  us to do thing on our own. But if you crossed mom you know it!  Mom ran the home with lots of love and firm grip ;-)
Mom use to read to us at night and because of that, we all have a great love for books.....and chocolate !

I learned to crochet, cook and decorate cakes from Mom.  Now the cooking and cake decorating  stayed with me most, however I have  been able to make a blanket once in awhile from memory of what mom thought me :-)
