Thank you, Lee, for the things you taught us, from the seemingly mundane, to the epic — to borrow a word. ... Life is fragile.  We will miss you very much.

Among the many wonderful tributes to Lee, I don't see mention of his joy in vegetable gardening.  My "Lee" rhubarb is bursting and I will miss him depositing delicious garden goodies on our doorstep. A complex man who shared simple pleasures, most recently Co-Vid driveway campfires.  I'm thankful that he was determined to pack so much into his sadly shortened life.  Love to dear, Kim.

I met Lee through Ultimate, mountain biking, and Mountain Bike Ultimate. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family and friends who have lost such a great person.

One of the best things ever to happen to me was befriending Lee shortly after moving to Montpelier from Boston 10-11 years ago.  Life will not be the same without him. He will be greatly missed by me and many, many others.

Lee and I forged an alliance for the reimagined version of the Flying Salsa ultimate club.  Although I ran it behind the scenes, it was Lee's competitive fire I looked to for inspiration on the field.  None of us should wander aimlessly through life without passion, and Lee's enthusiasm and attention to detail was infectious. Life will not feel as lively without Lee in our fold.  Cheers.

Lee was a very special competitor and friend to all he met on the field. I'll miss his wry smile, and the intelligence behind it. Condolences....

I was very saddened to hear of Lee's passing. I played club and corporate Ultimate with and against Lee over many years. He was part of the gang I always expected to see at Ultimate or an outing. I'll remember his conversational style and his distinctive laugh as he was always finding something funny to laugh with you about. A great guy and teammate. He will be missed by many.

I was Lee's babysitter when he was around ages 4 to 8 and I was in high school in Montpelier, VT.  He was always a great kid, even though he could easily coax me into reading more bedtime stories than he probably had on a regular basis.  I am saddened to hear of his passing and send special condolences to his parents and siblings whom I loved like another family.  Suzanne McKee Coonley

I last saw Lee in August 2020. He And I walked around part of Caspian Lake together then spent about an hour together chatting while we looked out over the lake. I was so shocked when I heard that he had passed. He was such a nice guy, so accomplished. I’m so glad I got to spend that hour with him. It was well worth the time. The world needs more people like Lee. From Andy Morris
