Lee was my law partner for the past 25 years. I considered him a dear friend and already miss him greatly. He was widely known and respected throughout the Bay Area legal community, I can honestly say that I have never heard a client or opposing counsel say a cross word about Lee. He was always a gentleman to everyone he dealt with.
Lee was my former boss and wonderful mentor. Whether we were trying to find survey stakes in Los Gatos or finalizing a tough motion, Lee was always a gentleman and true steward of the justice system. I thank him for seeing something in me and helping me develop as an attorney and person.
Worked with Lee as an outside counsel. He was truly a gentleman lawyer. I don't think I ever heard him say anything bad about anyone. You will be missed. Condolences to the family on your loss.
Lee was, as Justin said, a true gentleman. Also, intelligent, industry astute, kind, and patient, I enjoyed all professional contacts with Lee. He had a wry twinkle in his eye when we might sit on opposite sides of a table, and an ability to boost his client without diminishing an opponent. His family should know he was respected, and he will be missed. With great respect, Jeffrey Brown
I am so sadden...indeed he was a great Professional and human being! My deepest sympathies to his family. God bless!
