Lee was always one of my favorite people. I loved to hear his many tails of his adventures and always showed so much interest in your adventures. He seemed to love life and it showed in his many trips and friends he made along the way. Now you are joined with your love Terry and can continue your adventures. Rest in peace Lee and love and hugs to the family.

I worked with Lee on local IEEE activies in the Santa Clara Valley.  Lee was generous with his time and energy and was always encouraging to other volunteers.  He got our local section involved in the Maker Faire and other activites and even gave testimony to Congress in 2008.  Lee will be missed by those of us who worked with him.

I met Lee Colby in 2006 at a RESEED training session. Like me, he was passionate about teaching science to young students.   He was a fun guy to be with and I will miss him greatly.  When we merged our local RESEED group with the IEEE in 2012 to form TOPS of Santa Clara Valley, Lee joined our steering committee and helped with financing.
