I had the pleasure of meeting Alan's Mother, Ms Laura (Sister many years ago back in the early 1970's. Always a pleasant beautiful lady, I've often thought about her whereabouts after hearing about Alan's passing. Running with my "big brother" Alan I spent many good days visiting Ms Laura at her home on Mosby. Funny with plenty of charisma and smiles, I thought a lot of her. God Bless her.
