I was Larry's assistant nurse. I spent hours with him helping him in his every day needs. I found him very upbeat and positive. We talked much. I learned of the great love he had for his family. He kept in contact with all his pals. He would tell me about my Dad, a busines agent in the 60s and 70s. He told me about the union. We talked of places traveled. I will miss talking with him.
We have just found out that our great friend has passed. We first met him in 1989 in New Zealand when he was on holiday. In 1992 he insisted we stay with him while we found an RV for touring the US. We met a lot of his friends and family, enjoying many good times with them. He was larger than life and operated on a different level. To him nothing was impossible. We will certainly miss him.
