Rest in peace Kitty
You will be missed
No more dirty jokes, no more laughing calls. I'm going to miss you the rest of my days. I love you mom.
I was a young woman just starting out at Chevron in my first real job when I met Kitty in 1973. She stood ramrod straight, was obviously in charge and I, along with most of the ladies I worked with, was terrified of her! As years passed, I came to truly appreciate all she did for so many of us, helping us achieve the potantial she saw in us before we had a clue. Rest in peace, Kitty
Kitty was head of General Services when I was hired to be a Word Processing Supervisor. My supervisor, Gerry de la Cruz, worked for (Madeline?) who was in charge of Telephone & Telegraph. We worked at 225 Bush Street, and Kitty would loudly talk about whoever left her office, and did not hold back if she thought they were a "sh**t disturber" or on her good side. May she rest in Peace!
