Kira was a kind and caring teacher; not so common in the ballet world. She always encouraged her dancers to focus on their strenghts and to develop a unique style. She was patient and generous. Her influnce continues in so many students lives. She was greatly loved and will be missed.

Mrs. Ivanovsky taught ballet to my daughter for three years when we were stationned at Fort Ord.  For such an accomplished dancer, she was kind and interested in each student.  what a wonderful legacy she left in everyone who knew her.  The Nutcracker was so much fun.  thank you, Kira and Milou
