This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Kevin Nishihara.

Kevin T. Nishihara was born on March 23rd, 1968 in San Jose, California, and found peace on February 18th, 2020 in San Jose, CA at the age of 51.

Kevin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, friend, mentor and coach to so many. Kevin had a bigger than life heart and an infectious smile. Even as he faced health issues, he was always willing to listen and offer advice or help others when needed. We are all a little better for knowing him, he left the world better than it was.

Kevin attended Oak Grove High School, where his love of football started, he continued playing on at San Jose City College, and Cal State University of Hayward thereafter. He was the Athletic Operations Tech., Defensive Line Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator for San Jose City College for many years.

Kevin is survived by his wife Jeana, daughter Clarissa (Jose), grandson Aydin, granddaughter Sophia, father Warren, mother Amy (Mike), and brother Michael (Heather).

We would like to thank everyone for all their love, support, and prayers. We also want to thank Kaiser for the outstanding care he received throughout the years.

Kevin was taken too quickly from this world and will be greatly missed, but will never be forgotten.

Kevin’s memorial will be held on March 14th at Cryy Out Christian Fellowship in San Jose, CA starting at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow.

It sadness me that Kev is gone. He was a one of kind soul with an incredible zest for life especially when it came to football & family. He always seemed happy to be alive. He was a man happy with simple pleasures: a day at the beach, time spent with his family, kisses from his wife, hugs from his grandson and he just loved his football boys & the game! Sorry for your loss.

Kevin made alot of acquaintances and friends but most importantly to acknowledge God and Jesus as His Saviour and healer... get acquainted with both so you can experience all that both have for you...eternal life and love with Hashem ,Kevin has now....honest scales belong to Father only, Pure and relational is a key...to all Nishihara's chalome  especially the parents of Kevin,God knows
