We have a wonderful photo taken by Keith of Nenzinger Himmel, Austria. It looks like it is about an hour before Julie Andrews came through telling us that the hills are alive. Keith took wonderful pictures, and they were very carefully arranged. Keith was a careful worker with his photography, and we are sure with his civil engineering. Just the sort of person you would want to design your roads and bridges for maximum safety.
Keith and Carol sometimes combined lighthouse photo ops with their visits to us in the Chicago area. We remember a visit to the North Point Lighthouse. It was a little difficult to find as it was not right on the water, but up a hill in a park. We think he liked the way lighthouses offered a path through trouble to safety.
From our earliest memories (he drove Helen to her junior high graduation in 1958) to recent visits Keith was always welcoming and eager to hear of our lives and to tell us of his children and grandchildren.
May he rest in peace with the Lord.
