You were a fiercely woman that not only showed perseverance but embarked a lasting memory to your beautiful grand- daughter.  I am glad I have met you and I am glad that our last memory together.  You shared beautiful memories of your late husband and memories of how much of a cry baby poppa Gary was. I was keen to the memories you have shared and will forever cherished those memories.

I wanted to add my mother had 3 other adopted grandkids Adrina, Rachael, and Lisa. Adrina was considered my 1st daughter from my first marriage. She was 4 when I married her mother and she taught me how to be a father. My parents loved her so much and took care of her while we were working. Rachel and Lisa are from my brothers side of the family, and my parent loved them vey much.

I’ve been thinking about my dearest auntie since I knew her passing.
She had been the closest relative to me, closer than my own father who had a lot of troubles.  My mom, sister and I had cut off our relations with him long before his death.
During his living years, your mother tried to deliver him some information about us without telling us, but I knew her kind thoughtfulness.  He could know that he had a lovely granddaughter and saw her photos thanks to your mom.
Your mom loved my father. They were the youngest siblings of Murata family survived together through the most difficult times during the WW2 in their childhood.  I know that because your mom told me some stories.  How kind my father was to her, how deep she appreciated his kindness as her big brother.
It was your mom who was at my father’s death bed.  As soon as she knew that he was dying, she flew to Japan to take care of him, who was almost left alone by his second  wife.  My father had long been isolated from the Murata family,
but your mom tried to leave his name on their big family grave (you visited there once) and she really did.
I’m so sorry that I cannot visit your family grave in California, but I give my prayer at the Murata’s grave instead, because a part of your mom’s spirit must exist there, I believe.
I know that you experienced difficult times during your mom’s last years.  My sister living with our 88 year old mom is having big trouble, too.  I visit their place as often as I can.  So we know how stressful it is to take care of senile mother.  And I believe that you did your best until her last moment.  Thank you...
Thinking back on your mom’s history, she had been a great, powerful woman and I respect her very much.  I studied English because I wanted to be like your mom. She had such a positive influence

Your cousin, Miyuki

Nancy was a special person. She was smart and accomplished, energetic, graceful, and, like Bob, had a big heart. Hearing Miyuki's story about her is just what we would expect from her. Like a second mom to us, she will always have a special place in our hearts. Now, she is reunited with Bob, Richard, and Dee Dee. May she rest in peace until we meet again.
