Joan, based on the many stories you shared about your Mother’s remarkable life, I grew to respect and admire her through you.  As I reflect on this true American patriot, I’m struck by: The way she encouraged your father as he fought valiantly in WWII, the way she raised a large family of closely-knit siblings, the way she role modeled a strong work ethic, a heart for giving generously to others, and a deep love for family.  With Love, Carl Eidson and your Wilson Learning family of supporters

Although I never had the opportunity to meet Mrs. McCourt, she must surely have been a beautiful soul (and ever shall be) ... as reflected by that of her wonderful daughter Joan.  Peace and celebration be with the McCourt family.  Bill MacMartin
