What a lovely picture of Ms Soares, may God bless and keep her in all loving memory. We never met, but I was beneficiary of Ma’s exceptionally well crafted holiday pastries for several years. Clearly, Ma spent so many hours baking and giving during the holiday season to capture a tradition so rare and thought lost. Thank you Ma, and bless your beautiful and large heart of giving.

I have known and lived MA my entire life. She is the soul in all of us, don’t you forget. She has always been .a mother, grandmother, caregiver of any sort. But from the eyes of God an angle among us. She has instilled the power of “well being” in all of us! Anyone who knew her, knew that depth from simplicity! Enough said. Such a kind loving soul will be be missed forever! I love you MA!

Kathy Soares (and Horace) have always meant a lot to the Carvao family!  It goes way back to the days of everyone knowing everyone in a small country town of Sunnyvale. Very precious memories of special people, and Kathy was a gem.  My heart goes out to all the boys during this difficult time.  She was an angel on earth, and continues to be your angel from above.  She is greatly missed!

Kathy was my work’s Mom for 15 years of the 22 yrs I’ve known her. We called her Ma for her caring and loves to many of us at Fenwick! I will always treasure those good times in my heart! She often brought us her delicious home-baked goods, carrot cake & the holiday Croatian cookies! She looked after me like her own daughter! I miss her so much! Rest In Peace Ma! Love you always & forever!

I met Ma through work and didn’t know her name was Kathy until weeks in. She was super sweet, helpful and welcoming and it was very apparent to why people called her Ma - she makes people feel at home. I’ll miss her and her sunlight she shines on all.

Ma’s picture is beautiful, and it’s reflected Ma’s inner beauty as well.  I knew Ma for the last 14 years since I started working at Fenwick, Ma friendly and caring has made me felt welcome and at home at Fenwick.  Every other day in the week, there were a small plate of baking goods with all kind of colorful cookies, and these little plates with colorful cookies always brought a big smile on my face, I loved Ma dearly with all of her unconditional loves to me to all of us.  I think I’m still in denial, because I still feel Ma’s present very strongly, and yes my heart still crying knowing that she’s already left us for her new journey.  May God Blesses Ma’s beautiful mind and soul!  May God Blesses Pa, and Mike, Jeff, and family!  Good Bye Ma! You’re never leave our thoughts.   Love you much!     Hanh

To the Family of Ma as I called her for over 25 years, Your Heart Are In God’s Hands. She fought a good fight, she lived a good life, she loved her family. She never complained no matter what. She made us all feel loved. I loved her so much and her smile. She was honest she had integrity. She’s earned her wings and is now resting.  Ma you are missed, there will never be another Ma.

I crossed three third of the world to find Ma.  Her beautiful picture is reflected her inner kindness .  She loved and cared for all people around her. Ma gave us the strength for loving life.  Ma,  you’re in my thoughts and in my daily prayers.
