I am so sorry to hear of Karen's passing.  I worked with her as her State Child Care Licensing Specialist for her facility for a number of years, prior to my retirement.  I just became aware through The Shopper article about her niece taking over her business.  She was always very professional and wanted her facility to operate with the highest standards for child care.
