To Sammy, Gwen and all of the family members and friends, my prayers and thoughts are extended to each of you.  Sammy continue to stay strong as you honor your mother.

Mr. Holland and I got a chance to know and work with your mother.  We saw her as loving, kindhearted and proud of you as her son!  Hold on to the memories you had with her.  Take comfort in God's word,  John 14: 1-3.

Samuel, your mom will be remembered for spreading sunshine throughout our school!  As evidenced by your kind and gentle spirit, I know that you were raised to shine that light, too.  Peace be with you as you keep her close in your heart forever.

To Annette and the family of Juanita Owens; I offer my sincere sympathy to you.  I will always remember Juanita's kind spirit when she sang with the choir at Zion Baptist Church.  Peace be with you.
