Joe was the Chaplain for our group (Head Quarters 18th Army Corps, Army of the James, Ft Pocahontas) for 20 years. He was indeed wonderful at his work. A joy to see him work with children, he captivated them with his stories and humor. When asked for a "Weather Prayer" for fair weather for our events his prayers never failed. A good friend and a good man.RIP
