To the Peterson family, the passing of Joe has dominated my thoughts. We have been separated for many years, but the great distance never diminished my admiration for him .
My friendship with Joe began when he arrived in Momence and we were teammates on the high school baseball and basketball teams.
There will be may occasions when I will think about Joe and the many special moments we shared.
My family offers blessings during this difficult time and beyond.

Joe “Pete” Peterson! The man, the myth, the legend! So many great memories and great times that I got to share with this man. I was fortunate to be in the same industry as Joe. While I was at Sterling Business Forms and Joe was the owner of Apex Business Forms, Joe was one of our best customers and certainly the most entertaining! Every year we would head to Silverado Resort in Napa for an industry boondoggle. Joe Peterson, Dick Pruitt and Gregg
Hornecker...what a group. Playing golf, eating great food, and sipping gin at night with these guys taught me a lot about life and relationships. I think I was with Joe about 3 dozen times on the golf course where Joe emphatically announced that he was quitting the game!! I also had the privilege of going to Ireland with Joe and Emily...what a special time that was.
I’ll miss the jokes, the laugh, and the friendship of “Pete”! One of the greats!!
