Joni has been my long time friend and sister. She was inspiring, strong, caring, energetic, funny, and a loving spirit. Spencer, your mother had kept me up-to date on your accomplishments. She is very proud of you. My condolences to her loving family.

Joni always lit up a room with her big smile and instantly recognizable laugh. I just posted a short piece in the above "Stories" section about Joni.  We all love you Joni.

About forty years ago, Joni changed my life. She found me my first apartment and I found a best friend.  Read more about our Boston adventures posted in the "Stories" section about Joni.

Joni and I met through one of Temple Beth El’s family functions in Boca Raton; when our sons were small kids. We both shared the same birthday and we both were single Moms. Over the years we both enjoyed each other’s company. Joni had a great sense of humor with a laugh that brighten any room; and she was a smart business woman. She was a devoted Mother and loyal Daughter to her Mom.

Joni and I met at Camp Robindel when we were 10. We became instant friends and have always kept in touch. She had the funniest sense of humor and the biggest heart. She was always the greatest friend. My deepest condolences to Spenser, who she was so proud of, and her family. I will miss her a lot.
