To The Family of Mr. John Crisan,

On behalf of Topeka Public Schools, our condolences are extended to the family of Mr. Crisan.   It is clear that Mr. Crisan is a man that touched many lives through his faithful service in law enforcement and through his impact in his children who continue to touch many lives through their careers and families.  Mrs. Carleen Lister, one of Mr. Crisan’s daughter, serves as our School Board Clerk. As we have learned about Mr. Crisan’s incredible life, we can view his qualities in Mrs. Carleen Lister as she is also a person who has committed decades to public service, a quality clearly passed on from her father who served for more than three decades in law enforcement.  The spirit of generosity, the love of the nature and the willingness to help anyone in need are all aspects of Mr. Crisan’s life that lives on today in his children and grandchildren.  As Mr. Crisan enters everlasting life, I wish you comfort in knowing he is in God’s loving arms.  May God’s grace strengthen you and keep you during this difficult season.

May the positive memories of a dedicated father, a loyal public servant and a friend to many, uplift you and serve as a reminder of a legacy that lives on forever.
