Remembered as a very bright, witty raconteur and beloved 5th grade teacher. Jack knew how to lighten a faculty room mood on a rainy day. A truly entertaining story teller.

Mr. Tidyman was my 5th grade teacher in 2001 I remember being in his class when the twin towers were hit. I believe we were his last class of students and he hung it up for good that summer. I still remember some of the poems he made us memorize and also I remember marching around in formation with wooden rifles. Everyone wanted to get his class because the marching was so cool.
