On behalf of our family, descendants of Andrew Jackson Ellis, Jr. (son of Andrew Jackson Ellis, who was a brother to Granberry Ellis, Sr.), we are so sorry to hear of the passing of John Ellis.  Our father, Andrew Jackson Ellis, Jr. ("Jack") died in October 2008 at the age of 78.  I am Elizabeth Ellis Attkisson and live in Ashland VA.  I was interested to read that John will be buried here
