To those who knew, I'm proud to have known the Colonel. I served with him as his driver in Vung Tao, Republic of Viet Nam. I've often thought of John over the years and am humbled by his passing.  He was a great guy to work for. Snow was to deep for me and I now reside in Linden Texas as a retired police Captain.
