I worked with John at HCHP and we got along famously.  We stayed in touch after he left and I visited him at his home in Arlington a few years back.  I now live in California, so I can not attend his service, but would have attended had I been in Massachusetts. Such is the esteem in which I hold him in.  May he rest in peace.
