John was our treasured friend for more than 40 years, as a wonderful neighbor and business owner in Los Gatos.  During his career, Sorenson Plumbing was the go-to business for all plumbing issues, and John was not only professionally top notch, but was a truly generous member of the community.  Our kids spent their young years in the sunshine of his warm smile. We will all miss John.

John Sorenson was a kind man with a warm soul who was always filled with humor that would make you smile. He was a man of honor and dignity. John always was putting his family first and made sure they were always well taken care of. Although his presence will be missed his spirit and soul will always be with us. I met John in the mid-80s when I started working for
R V Cloud plumbing supply company in Campbell. John and his father would come in to pick up their supplies they needed weekly and I met him as a counter sales person. When I left the company in 1995 John found out and called me to ask if I’d like to go to work for him on a part-time basis in the plumbing shop what started out to be only a few hours a week turned into an every day job with lunch at 12 o’clock every day at CB Hannigan‘s in Los Gatos and work till four. Work mainly consisted of me doing the job and John talking to his customers which now I understand after being in the business for 30 years and having customers for the same amount of time. I didn’t hear from John much after he retired and moved to Gilroy we kind of lost contact. I’ll always remember all the fun we had working together all His friends stopping by early morning to grab a cup Of coffee or smoke a cigarette and gab for a while before we headed off to our first appointment.I’ll always remember all the fun we had working together End watching all the cute girls through the front window walking to and from work.
