My deepest condolences to the family. I met John a few years ago after taking the SFSU Baseball Head Coach position. John would send me old newspaper clippings from his playing days, update me on former players and recall war stories about his time in Korea. He was passionate, a dedicated coach and mentor and a tremendous family man. He loved his family, his teammates and his players! Tony
