I met Dr. John Davey when he first arrived at the Bedford VA and was impressed by his natural friendliness and quiet self-confidence. A group of psychologists would gather to watch TV boxing in the years before MMA. Tyson, Duran, Hagler and Alexis Arguello. I lost contact with John after he left the VA. I was saddened by his passing,  memories remain. I am sure he was a fighter too.
