John Dellos was "Uncle John" to me. He is Maryann's uncle and so my relationship to him was like an uncle. He always made me feel like he was overjoyed to see me and took interest in my interests. He told many stories of his life and his experiences. My husband, David, and he shared the love of hats. Notice John's hat! We will miss you!
I met Mr. Dellos when I was a third grader and always admired and respected him for his warmth, hospitality, and bulldog nature when he wanted to get something done. Nothing, however, can come above his 72 years of devotion to his wife Angie. I'm so proud and happy to have known you Mr. Dellos - until we meet again ...
I have lost one of the most important men in my life, My Gramps!! I've always had such a special bond and respect for him! His wisdom, accomplishments, the values and lessons he has given me, all the stories and lectures will ALWAYS be remembered and shared!! My Gramps encouraged me to become the best person I could possibly be! Our Friday talks, laughs, his travels to our house, "Nonno" playing with his great-grandchildren, taking my classes at the gym, dancing with me... but especially your voice is going to be Very Missed!! All of these special memories will continue to put a smile on my face! Grandpa always meant the world to me and will continue to be My Hero Forever!! The realization that my Grandpa is no longer on this earth will continue to cause me pain but he will forever be in my heart until we meet again!
