I am writing to offer my condolences to your family. Death isn't anything that God ever planned for us. I have found much comfort in this Scripture found at Isaiah 25: "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces..." Dearest Jessica and family, Although as a family we were many miles away,we as cousins remained very close over the years. That was a lot to do with my beloved Mum,Betty. Your Dad adored her ,as did his brother Philip.
I have many wonderful memories of dear John, nearly all of them made me laugh,he was larger than life
itself, and will always be in heart. God Bless John.
One of my most endearing memories (and I have many) of dear cousin John was when he travelled to England to attend the funeral of his much loved ‘Aunt Betty’, my Mum. He recited her favourite poem ‘Daffodils’ by William Wordsworth during the Service and also provided greatly needed moral support to the whole family and helped to lift our spirits.
Dear Jessica and Holly, My deepest condolences. I was shocked to learn of John's passing. We have been friends for more than 15 years. He was amazingly loyal and sincere. Jessica, he spoke often of you with great pride and admiration. May his memory be a great blessing.
