John will be sorely missed in our community at large and in our neighborhood in particular. He was truly a fixture and always loved engaging in conversation while walking his beloved Sir William. We watched our kids grow up together and shared many hours in cold ice rinks. It's difficult to imagine the streets of Beacon Hill without his presence. I'm sure his spirit will still be with us.
